Now the process of re-verification of Aadhaar and mobile SIM card has become easier. All telecom subscribers can verify all their mobile numbers with Aadhaar, irrespective of the network, by calling just one number. Customers can link mobile number with Aadhaar from the comfort of their home using IVR service.

How to Link?
  • A subscriber of any mobile network operator has to dial the toll free number 14546 from his phone to re-verify his mobile number with Aadhaar. After dialing this number, you will be asked to choose the option of Hindi and English.
  • After that, by pressing the number 1 from the keypad of your phone, you will have to approve the linking of Aadhaar and mobile number. After this, you have to enter your Aadhaar number and confirm it by pressing 1 from the keypad.
  • Then OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number. Enter OTP in your phone. After that the mobile operator will match your name, photo and date of birth with the UIDAI database after taking your approval.
  • To verify your number, the IVR will ask for confirmation by sending the last 4 digits of your number. If your number is correct then OTP will be sent to you via SMS.
  • Now complete the Re-Verification process of Aadhaar and mobile number by pressing 1 number.
If you have another mobile number then press number 2. After this, following the instructions given by IVR, it can also be linked to Aadhaar. Also keep the registered phone with you as OTP will be sent to this number.
Let us tell you that the OTP sent during the process of linking Aadhaar and mobile number is valid for 30 minutes. If the phone gets disconnected while linking the number with Aadhaar, then you can use this OTP within 30 minutes.
